Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Cape Extra Bold Peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons Cape Sea Salt
- 3 tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 3 tablespoons Oregano Leaves
- 3 tablespoons Paprika Special
- 1 tablespoon MBL Chilli Mild
- Brown Sugar
Customise your rub with:
- Dry Mustard Powder
- Some Turmeric
- Onion Powder
- Dry Parsley
- Dry Thyme
- Cayenne Pepper
Method:
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Pat your steak dry with a paper towel and then cover your meat generously with the dry rub.
You can cook it immediately but we recommend letting it sit at room temperature for at least one hour.
Store in a jar in a cool, dry place.
A little tip:
Put some of the spice rub in a ziplock bag and bring it with you for BBQs or even camping.
This spice rub even goes great inside hamburgers.
